Projects
The goal of the Personal Reader project is to enhance the access to information in the (Semantic) Web. We believe that personalization is a key concept to reach this goal. By the aid of the Personal Reader Framework we developed several applications which demonstrate how a personalized access to (Semantic) Web content can gain benefits to users. Among those applications are:
- MyEar - enables users to listen to personalized podcasting feeds
- Personal Publication Reader - allows users to navigate through publications within an embedded context
- …
Next to these Personal Reader applications we also investigated other ways to gain personalization in the Semantic Web: we implemented personalization features in semantic portals, we designed new ontologies, we implemented a tour guidance system based on Wifi and Semantic Web technologies, etc.
