At this year’s Cebit we presented our Personal Reader Project at a collective booth of Universities in Lower Saxony. We want to thank all visitors for their interest in our project! |

As hanger of our presentation slides we used a comic which illustrates our main problem domain: Reading and Research.

personal-reader.de is re-launched again. Now all data is filed in RDF:
- Publications are described with DCMI Metadata Terms
- News are gathered from a News Feed
- Persons (contact information) are FOAF Persons
- ...
To access the metadata of the actual site you have to click on the RDF Logo:
The core website works according to the ajax principle. This principle is also an opportunity for the visualization components of the Semantic Portal Agent (blog).

Personal Publication Reader in 3rd place! [Thu, 10 Nov 2005]
Personal Publication Reader made a fantastic 3rd place within the Semantic Web Challenge 2005. The final round took place at International Semantic Web Conference 2005 in Galway, Ireland. Among the five finalists CONFOTO,
a browsing and annotation service for conference photos won the
competition. The award ceremony proceeded in presence of Sir Tim
Berners Lee at the last plenary session of the conference 
New version of Personal Reader for eLearning deployed [Tue, 18 Oct 2005]
